FlowFast Plumbing ("FlowFast", "we", "us") operates a free referral service that connects homeowners nationwide with independent local plumbing professionals. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and who we share it with.
Information we collect
Information you provide. When you submit the request form or contact us, we collect your name, phone number, ZIP code, email address (if you provide it), the type of plumbing problem, timing preferences, and anything you write in the notes field. Please don't include sensitive personal information (like Social Security numbers) — we don't need it.
Information collected automatically. We collect standard technical data: pages visited, device and browser type, approximate location (derived from IP), and referrer. If you call a tracked phone number on this site, we log the call time, duration, and caller ID for quality and attribution purposes (see "Call tracking" below).
How we use your information
- To match your request with independent local plumbing pros and share your details with them so they can respond.
- To contact you about your request by phone, text, or email.
- To operate, maintain, and improve the site — including measuring which pages and ads lead to requests.
- To detect fraud and abuse (for example, bot submissions to the lead form).
- To comply with legal obligations.
Who we share your information with
Independent local pros — up to three. This is the core of the service: when you call or submit the form, your contact details and request information may be shared with up to three independent local plumbing professionals so they can contact you about your job. Those pros are separate businesses with their own privacy practices; once they contact you, their policies apply to information you share with them directly.
Service providers. We use vendors for hosting, analytics, form delivery, and call tracking. They process information only to provide those services to us.
Legal and safety. We may disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or in connection with a business transfer.
We do not sell your personal information.
Call tracking
Some phone numbers on this site are tracked numbers that route to us or to a partner pro. When you call a tracked number, we (or our call-tracking provider) may record the call's metadata — time, duration, and caller ID — and may record the call audio for quality assurance and dispute resolution. By calling a tracked number, you consent to this recording where permitted by law.
Cookies and attribution
We use cookies and similar technologies for essential site functions (like remembering form progress and preventing abuse), analytics (understanding aggregate usage), and attribution (connecting a request or call to the ad or page that led you here, so we can measure advertising effectiveness). Attribution cookies may persist for up to 90 days.
You can block cookies in your browser settings, but parts of the site (including the request form) may not work correctly without them.
Consent to be contacted (TCPA / SMS)
By submitting the request form and checking the consent box, you agree that FlowFast Plumbing and the independent local pros we share your request with may contact you about your request by phone call, text message (SMS), or email — including by automated means. Consent is not a condition of using the service, and you can call us instead if you prefer not to submit the form.
If you receive text messages from us, message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out of texts at any time; reply HELP for help. Opting out of texts does not withdraw your request — a pro may still try to reach you by phone or email about it.
Data retention
We keep request information for as long as needed to operate the service, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations — generally no longer than 3 years after your last interaction, after which it is deleted or anonymized. Call metadata is retained for up to 2 years.
Your rights and choices
- Access, correction, deletion. You can ask what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. To make a request, call us at (214) 555-0148 with "Privacy request" in the subject or message.
- Opt out of marketing. We don't send marketing emails or texts unrelated to your request. Transactional messages about your request can be stopped by replying STOP (texts) or asking us directly.
- Texas residents. Under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act, you have the right to confirm whether we process your personal data and to request access, correction, deletion, and an opt-out of targeted advertising or sale (we don't sell data). We respond to verifiable requests within 45 days.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the service evolves. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above; continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated policy.
